This was interesting to read. It’s full time, especially at the beginning. I’ve been working from when I open my eyes to falling asleep (so much for healthy routines this week). But I love it and I’m excited for Lawtivation to grow. But is it exhausting? Yes. But also the best thing ever so🤷

Cheers! Yes, especially in the beginning and realistically for at least one year (probs two or three). It's a different level of motivation which enables us to sustain a lack of balance (at least for a while).

Good point. Engagement is crucial, especially at the beginning. Oh and Tim replies to the first few comments in his newsletter. Even he (still) does shallow work.

What a great analysis 👏

I know the book and it's teaching. But as you observed correctly it's not in every aspect useful for writers. Especially not on a new platform. Algorithms don't care about deep work. They want you see engaging with other users.

And this is time consuming at best. And overwhelming at worst.
